Photography is my passion

I’m Photography obsessed! It’s my passion. I love to take photographs of weddings, people and pets.

My career initially began as a Graphic Designer back in 2003. I studied a BA Hons in Graphic Design at Blackpool & the Fylde College. I then went onto work for many local design agencies and publishing companies in and around the North West.

Whilst working full-time in a design role, I studied Photography in an evening at Preston college for two years. I completed City & Guilds qualifications in Photography in 2009/2010.

In 2017 I retrained as a Medical Photographer and I currently work for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a varied role where I get to photograph many clinical conditions. I get to photograph brain surgery too, which is pretty amazing.

I find Photography fun and creative. I love being in the outdoors and working with natural light. Whatever your prefferred style of photography is, I will work with you to create the style you love. Personally I love vintage and black and white wedding photography due to the timeless look you can create.

 I love meeting new people and discussing their photography projects and ideas.

Whether you’re walking down the aisle, posing in a field with your dog or celebrating a family party, I will put all my energy and creativity into capturing the moments that you don’t see.

My love for animals

My love
for animals

 I had a career change and trained as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2012. I’ve always been a huge animal lover and this felt right for me at the time.

I’ve photographed Veterinary photography for a practice in Blackpool which you can view on the Frans Fotos Vet Photography Page.

I absolutely adore animals. I own two rescue Basset Hounds named Rodney and Dexter. I have Senegal Parrots too, Polly Anne and Kiwi, they certainly keep me entertained!

Home is where my heart is

My home town is Preston, Lancashire. The majority of my photography work takes place in the North West.

I love meeting new people and building relationships.
